A box in which a dead body is buried or cremated. A green coffin will be made of natural material, harvested in a sustainable fashion, and either untreated or treated with natural finishes. Materials might include wood, cardboard, felted wool, willow, bamboo, cork, rattan, seagrass, banana leaf.
